Last year on Valentine's day we decided to make it all about the kids - much more fun than paying over the odds to go to a restaurant and speak in forced hush tones.
We made heart shaped pancakes with red berry sauce for breakfast and had a bit of a 'family love in' instead; and honestly it was much more fun.
This year, as Valentines day falls in half term I'm going to encourage my children to share the love. We'll be making some heart shaped biscuits and little heart bracelets to deliver to friends. Simple, easy and just sharing the love. After all, there's enough of it to go around.
Our heart bracelets are great for little hands, the elastic has a hard end making it super easy for kids to thread through the beads with a generous 4mm hole. We have them available as individual kits or a limited edition Valentine's tin. The large tin has enough beads and elastics to make five bracelets. Perfect for a bit of half term love themed fun.
