After many a debate, I finally decided on a printed Kraft box for the Cotton Twist gift range. We experimented with the crafts in a tin, but tins aren't quite so easy to store when you're strapped for space, so the box it is.
The box design was a relatively straightforward process, & it even incorporates a puzzle on the back to complete. I've designed 4 different inserts for the inside to suit the contents of the box. The ultimate aim of the compartments is to vastly reduce the amount of plastic we need to use. We're trying to make this as sustainable as possible.
For orders placed online, there's an option of personalisation too. The main central sticker can accommodate a named banner, & there's still room for a message beneath. I think this adds a really great touch for those ordering from the comfort of their living rooms.
The beading boxes contain components to make up to 10 bracelets. These are a fabulous birthday gift, or stocking filler. Alternatively, they'd work really well at a children's party as an additional source of entertainment.
The remaining boxes provide a selection box of assorted crafts, some themed & others free form. There's something for everybody. And for something a little bit different, there are some new scenes to create including a pirate ship & a sleigh complete with Father Christmas, Elves, & a couple of reindeer.
We can't wait to start getting these boxes sent out after all the hard work & preparation . Here's to sustainable craft gifting.
