The cosiest corner of the Christmas craft box. Winter Warmers gives children six charming wooden winter designs to stitch with rainbow threads - choose the colours, stitch each one through, add a wooden bead & hang. Six makes means the fun stretches across several December afternoons (or one very determined one), and every finished decoration is different from the last.
These are keepsakes in the making: the slightly wonky stitching of a six-year-old becomes, in about four Decembers' time, the most precious thing on the tree. Everything - threads, needle, designs & beads - lives in the pencil tin, which files neatly into the decoration box between years.
